Prevent tabbing across multiple records

Hi

I'm trying to prevent users from moving between different records in
forms in Access 2000.

I've turned off the record selectors and disabled the mouse wheel.

I've now found that you can reach other records by tabbing through all
the controls on the forms.

Any ideas on how to stop this?

Cheers

Check the property sheet for the form..
There is a tab behaviour Cycle property to select between just the current
record and going to a new record.

I have a recordset that contains multiple records of product a user is purchasing. For clarity, I converted the recordset fields to variables. I need to take that entire recordset and insert it into another table on a remote server. The below code only inserts 1 record. How do I change the code to get all records inserted? thanks! <% Dim DataConn2 Set DataConn2 = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")

I have a form frmEditAdminData. Its AllowAdditions property is set to No. I thought this meant the form could not be opened in a manner that allowed the appending of new records to its source table. But that is untrue. I open the form from code this way: DoCmd.OpenForm "frmEditAdminData", , , , acFormEdit How can I prevent the addition of records to the source

Hey all, I am very new to ASP.Net (and .Net in general), but that isn't stopping the boss from wanting to begin new projects in it. This latest project has me kinda stumped and after a couple days of struggling, I figure asking you all (the experts) will keep me from going down some dark and dangerous road. The project I have is a fairly simple one, in theory anyway. The gist is to create a page where the user enters an IDNumber,...

First off, let me say this is a great site! I've just started working with Access and much of my success is from what I've read here! Background: I have a form, driven off a single table. Goal: To have multiple fields copied and pasted into multiple records with a single button click. Work Done: In the form I have multiple fields, but for my question let's just refer to FIELD 1 and FIELD 2. I would like to copy the value of FIELD 2 and...

Hi, I'm trying to create a general form with multiple subforms. The subforms contain discrete pieces of information such as Customer, Work Order, etc, while the main form is simply a front-end for the user. In one of the subforms, I'm having a problem which is either a design or coding issue, I'm not sure which. I have a Customer table and a PhoneCustomer table so that I can link multiple phone numbers to a particular Customer. I want...

Good evening all, I have a problem that I've been banging my head against for a few hours and was looking for some advice. Consider a table with the following data: SSN (int) first_name (char) last_name (char) middle_name (char) A sampling of data would appear as such: 000112222, Jones, Jeff, J. 000112222, Jones, Jeff, Jason

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
