Hi,
Is it possible to set the default font size and name, etc for the
Leban's Rich Text box. I am using the latest version 1.5 but the
following code does not work (but also produces no errors.)
Dim x As RTF2
Dim fnt As New StdFont
Set x = Me!rchtxtCalend ar.Object
With fnt
.Name = "arial"
.Size = 44
.Italic = False
.Bold = False
.Strikethrough = False
.Underline = False
End With
set x.Font = fnt
Thanks
Nigel 3 1966
Sorry, that Prop has not been hooked up yet. I'll add it to the next
release.

I hooked up the SetFont prop tonight. It now accepts a StdFont object as
the input as per your example. Some more testing is required before
release but I will try to put the new version on my site tomorrow night
or Wed at the latest.

I'm using Stephen Lebans' RTF2 control in a report, and have discovered what
may be a slight bug in it.
I have a lot of non-Western language (Chinese) text in my RTF field, and
such records get sized strangely using the .RTFHeight property of the
control. Specifically, lines of text get cut off the bottom of the control
when I use the code provided in the sample report on the lebans.com site. It
seems that when there is Chinese text,...

I am trying to return the vertical scroll position of a rich textbox
control using Access 2000. It seems to work for the horizontal scroll
bar, but not the vertical. Code follows:
Option Explicit
Private Declare Function GetScrollPos Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As
Long, ByVal nBar As Long) As Long
Private Declare Function GetFocus Lib "user32" () As Long
Private Const SB_VERT = 0

Hi,
When you use a RichText box (I'm using Microsoft Control VB 6.0, OLE
Class: RichtextCtrl)
It is possible to store only the text in the table instead of the rft
format?
The problem is when you generate the report, it takes data from tables that
now have all the RFT format code, like the following:
{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 MS
Sans Serif;}}

Is there an editable RTF textbox control which allows the user to apply
bold, italic, etc.? I tried the Microsoft Rich Textbox Control, but there
doesn't seem to be a way to allow the user to change the formatting while
typing text. Is there such a beast?
Thanks,
Neil

Has anyone tried this? My application is used by schools that run a
dinner and need to typeset journal ads. We've been able to allow
setting of font type etc. but would also like to allow insertion of a
graphic such as business logo. So far all we get is "Jpeg Image"
showing on screen & printing out.

Hello,
I'm experimenting with Stephen Lebans' Rich Text Control for doing RTF
data entry into a memo field.
I imported the table, form, toobar, and modules from the A2k version
into an A2k3 DB. Then I edited a sample table record using the sample
form provided, then closed Access.
Then I could not re-open the MDB containing these items, nor any other

Hi Steve, I hope you can help me with this. In Access 97, I'm getting
the following error.
"The formats that enable you to output data as a Microsoft Excel,
rich-text format, MS-DOS text, or HTML file are missing from the
Windows Registry.
Run Setup to reinstall Microsoft Access or, if you're familiar with the
settings in the Registry, try to correct them yourself. etc.
I've looked at this:

Using the MS Rich Textbox Control 6.0 in Access 2000, I need to concatenate
several RTB controls into a single RTF file. Sometimes two strings will be
side-by-side; other times they need to be separated by a hard return.
For example, say I have the following 4 RTB controls in my form:
RTB1 = "abcd"
RTB2 = "efgh"
RTB3 = "ijkl"
RTB4 = "mnop"

I posted a few days ago that it seems to me that the Access 2007 rich text
feature does not support: a) full text justification; b) programmatic
manipulation.
I was hoping that someone might know one way or the other whether that was
true or not, or could point me to an article or help text that would. What I
have seen so far online and in Access 2007 help seems to confirm the above.
But that (or at least (b)) seems incredible that it...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
