Outlook calendar in Access

Not sure if this is an access problem or an outlook problem so please excuse
the crossposting.

I'm trying to extract the appointments from the calendar in outlook. When
opened in Access there are fields for created, modified and received dates;
none of which correspond to the date scheduled. Can anyone tell me how to
extract the field information for the scheduled date/time of an
appointment??

The linked table method has major limitations, including the inability to
show even all the reasonably important fields. While articles have been
written on how to expand on this method's obvious features, I've never been
able to duplicate the results. See
http://www.slipstick.com/dev/database.htm#linkedtables .

That page will also give you other ideas on how to work with databases and
Outlook together. You may be better off using Outlook automation directly.

I have used microsoft's automated appointment code to do this, what I would also like the code to do is to email an appointment to the person hiring the gear. Knowing that you can email an...

Greetings all! I've been searching and searching for about two hours looking for advise, help, tips for viewing an Outlook calendar (any view, month, week, day) from within Access. I've noticed that linking the Outlook folder is easy, but the link doesn't include the appointment data, i.e. start time, end time, etc. Am I barking up a dead tree? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Is it possible to link data from an Access database with Outlook? My client would like to be able to have a calendar similar to that in MS Outlook whereby they can type daily tasks on the calendar which is linked to a particular record. Can't use the calendar in Access as it does not allow you type in data on the calendar itself. Basically the client wants to be able to view the month's task on one page for one or more of a variety of...

Our uses don't want to login to another application just to notate their leave schedules. Most of our users are already familiar with Outlook and like it. They don't want an office calendar, so we are building an application to display all types of leave. So..... My organization currently has interfaces in place to generate MS Outlook emails from our business applications. I am trying to determine if it is possible and how difficult it might be to interface with MS Ecxhange or Outlook from a business application and add items to a user's calendar, task list, or at a minimum to set a follow up flag in an email. We are running Exchange 2003 and a variety of MS Outlook 2000 and 2003. We do have...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
