Dear all,
I need help with access 2000. I have a form "Child" with subform
"Grand" (3 levels). I have a toggle box in every record in the lowest
level of the form for status. I want to have a toggle box in the
parent form (2nd level) that when I update it, all the toggle boxes in
the subform are updated, but I still have the ability to update the
toggle box manually and individually.
If I set the recordsource to equal to the field in the mainform, I
can't make changes to individual checkboxes because it is locked. I
want it to be like hotmail, where you tick the checkbox on top, every
checkbox is ticked, but you still have the ability to untick checkbox
individually.
Please help. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Make the toggle box in the parent form unbound. Then in the AfterUpdate event
of the togglebox run an update query to set the toggleboxes in the subform to
true if they are unchecked and false if they are checked. The pseudocode is:
If Me!ParentToggle box = True Then
Execute update query Me!Subform!togg lebox = True
Else
Execute update query Me!Subform!togg lebox = False
End If

Via JavaScript within the client page containing the checkbox, I'm trying to capture the value of a
checkbox to make a cookie out of it. But, all I get is the defined "ON" value, even when it is
unchecked. I'm using the following construct:
document.cookie = "cpceRememberLoginCookie="+document.getPage1.rememberLogin.value+"; expires=Thr,
01-Jan-2015 00:00:00 GMT";
The actual checkbox value passed in the <form> POST reflects the actual...

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I was wondering if the Enabled property of a CheckBox or RadioButton
server control is stored in the ViewState. If not, is there some way
to to add this property to ViewState? If needed, I can give you more
info on exactly what I'm trying to do.
Thanks,

Hi,
I am trying to implement a custom control that extends the standard
System.Web.UI.WebControls.CheckBox control. In the .Net class library
reference it is said that CheckBox Implements IPostBackDataHandler
interface. I want to override the 2 methods defined by that interface but i
do not see in the CheckBox class that the methods of IPostBackDataHandler
are implemented. But they should be as the class is said to implement the...

What happens :
When I first press the button, I get an listbox1 with a,b,c (correct:
because of the
addtoa(1, "a")
addtoa(2, "b")
addtoa(3, "c")
When I check the checkbox, the eventhandler triggers and when I press the
button, the addtoa(4,"d") works fine, because I have a listbox with a,b,c,d

What I am trying to do is essentially 'flip' the bits, when the user
clicks in the checkbox. For example, if the CheckBox appears checked,
and the user un-checks it, I want the underlying data field to change
from a "1" to a "0" (and vica versa).
I have the bindings worked out, I just can't figure out how to do the
update.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
