URGENT : Access 2000 - Database corrupted just after Launch

After a common use of Access with a Delphi Application, I restart the
application an it does not succeed in accessing the database. (after 3
months of use, nothing special was done !)
I try to use it with access and I have a problem opening a table (Database
Format Not Known !). The other tables are OK.
When I try to compact the database, it simply delete the table that is
concerned and indicate an error -1206 ?

The problem happened 3 times but it is not reproductible (I mean, we do not
know how to reproduce it !)

Is someone know this problem and the turnaround, it may help,

Thanx a lot,

Jucius

Hey people, I have to convert MS Access 2000 database into mysql database, the whole thing being part of this project I'm doing for one of my faculty classes. My professor somehow presumed I knew db's and gave me long list of things to do with that particular database, first thing being that particular conversion. Truth is that I don't know...

I posted this issue a while back (over a year ago?) but thought I would take another crack at it. I have one user out of about 250 where my app's custom menu bar does not work on any of the drop-down menu items. I have four drop-down menus in the menu bar along with a half dozen or so other top level buttons. The top-level items all work...

Hi all I am planning on writing a stock and accounts program for the family business, I understand this is likely to take close to 2 years to accomplish. The stock is likely to run into over a thousand items and the accounting side will be used for hopefully many years so the entries are likely to be vast. The delema is what is best to...

Is there a way to find out where an application was created from? i.e. - work or home i.e. - if application sits on a (work) server/network, the IT people know the application is sitting there, but is there a way they can find out if that application was put there from a CD or email or created at work? Hint: It's not on a client/server...

Hello - This is my first posting to this group, so please bear with me. Also note, that while I'm intelligent, databases are not in my field of knowledge. I'm working with a small limousine company. They presently have about 4 networked computers, all running Windows XP (w/SP2) and Microsoft Office 2000 (specifically Access 2000) - and a...

Hello All, I have a major application for quoting and invoicing that is written in Access 97 (both front and back ends). I have a user base of over 300 customers, and currently I don't require that they have Access 97, as I use the access 97 runtime scripts from Sagekey software. The main problems I've seen with Access 97 are the built in...

XP has all patches installed and is SP 2. I got this error: Can't be started. Was unable to initialize the Windows Registry. Rerun Microsoft Access...
