I have a purchase order database, i use 1 particular supplier very often -
i'd like to put a button on my form which, when pressed, 'auto-filled'
several fields (like supplier name, address, telephone number, buyer, etc).
Is this easy enough to achieve?
Thanks,
Lap 5 1622
I should have thought that you would have a table of suppliers and a srop
down box to select the supplier for each order. Presumably a FK in the
Orders table linking it to the supplier.

That's not uncommon, however to do what you want in your circumstance
would be just a command button with the event procedure for onclick, e.g.
Sub cmdFavSupplier_ Click()
Me!txtSupplierN ame = "Microsoft"
Me!txtAddress = "1 Microsoft Way, Seattle, Washington"
... etc.
End Sub
Cheers.

Lap,
one way to do it, and there are many, is to have a combobox on your
form where you choose the supplier/supplierID. you can hide all the
extra columns (set the width=0) and then use cboSupplier.Col umn(i) as
the controlsource for all your values you want to show (name, address,
tel#, buyer...) I like that because it's pretty quick and easy. All
covered in ADH, too.

Hi!
I would like to substitute every M$_Outlook installation in my office
to a network/web based PIM. I think about PHP because I already know
the language and can optionally personalize the software to my needs.
Does anyone have some experience with GPL projects based on PHP which
could help me with this migration?
I am concentrating in the address book part of the PIM because it's
the mainly used function (in my office) of Outlook....

I have a data base with about 4 different tables.
1. Cust info
2. Supplier info
3. Order History
4. Order details.
Order history and details are on one form with details being the
subform. This allows a 1 to many with the details.
This is all working fine. A person can input data into the main part

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
