I searched Google but couldn't find any reference to this one, though
I've observed the behavior before.
The current case is where I select a value in a combo box, which has
a Long Integer as it's bound value. After updating this value and moving
to the next record, the field directly after the combo gets populated with
the same value as the bound column of the combo.
There is no code in the form putting this there. Any ideas?

Ooops ... I found something elsewhere. My combo has a NotInList event
handler that opens a seperate form. That form, when it closes, sets the
focus to the next field. It seems that process is causing it to populate.
Anyhow, despite the fact that removing that setfocus solves my problem,
I really have seen this behavior before with access 2000.

I stumbled across this while trying to update a table with a timestamp type column. At the time, I didn't know that the timstamp column would update itself when a row was changed. A kind gentleman in another group pointed that out to me.
I added a column to a table and wanted to update the rows to populate the new column. When doing something like this I usually will create a temporary table and perform a dry run, just to make sure I am...

I created a new C# web application. Basically all I am trying to do is
create a table that consists of a few rows with two columns in each. And
then to set those columns to text values from my code behind. However I am
not able to do this at all, I am going about this wrong, I think and need
guideance.
If this was just straight HTML I would do this:
<table>
<tr><td>field 1</td><td>value 1 set by code behind</td></tr>

Is there really any advantage to using DIV elements with float style
properies, vs. the old method of TABLE and TR and TD?
I'm finding that by using DIV, it still involves the same number of
elements in the HTML to get everything just right. When you consider
the class attribute on the DIV elements, there's not much size savings
anymore for using DIV.
There are other disadvantages to not using TABLE/TR/TD, such as the
lack of ability...

Hello,
I have a form that has a combo box that populates other fields. This works great but it doesn't save that information in the table where those fields are coming from. The only one that's getting saved is the combo box information.
I have four fields that are getting populated. The following is the code I have for them.
=.(1)
=.(2)
=.(3)
=.(4)

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
