Hello,
This is a repost (see under the "dotted" line) from 2 days ago. Hope someone
could help.
Norton Antivirus 2003 is installed on this computer. Could it cause a
problem? Another interesting thing is when I open a email with the DB
attached (on the ME computer), the file is not "enabled" in the file list,
it's grey. First time I see this.
Any suggestion?

Hello all,
I just created a simple Access 2000 DB which has only tables in it: no
query, no forms, ... It's a back-end in fact. I created it on
W98 and used it on NT4. I tried to transfert both the front and back-end
on Windows ME but it doesn't work.
When I try to open the front end it's asking me the DB password (never had
any). And when I try to open the back-end (tables only) it's telling that
maybe the DB is corrupted and it's asking me if I want to repair it. When I
answer Yes, the following message says that the DB format in not
recognized.
I'm telling you all this by memory (no precise error messages) because I
do not have access right now to this ME computer.
Another interesting point that could help you to help me it's when I
create a new DB using Access 2000 on the ME computer and try to open it on
W98 or NT4, it opens without any error message, just fine.
Anybody know what could be the problem? I suspect something is missing or
not up-to-date on my ME computer needed by Access but don't know what.
