Zoom to fit and Paper Size

I have a mix of reports that are designed to print on either legal or letter
size paper. When a legal sized report is first viewed in Print Preview, Page
Setup uses the default Window printer's paper size and sets the Paper Size
to Letter. I'd like to hard code the Paper Size and Zoom to Fit for each
type of report I have. Is this possible? Thank you.

Hello: I am trying to design a web page whose graphics content would change according to the "text Zoom" settings of the user. (Basically the goal is to use mathematical symbols that automatically resize in response to zoom events). Is it possible to detect a zoom change event? Stefan

Hi! I'm doubtful there's a workaround for this problem, but it's worth a shot. I'm using IE's (css) "zoom" property to zoom the body of a document (in conjunction with persistance so the previously selected percentage level is restored each time the page is reloaded). I don't expect zoomed images to look perfect, but overall the quality of the zooming is pretty good (as good as Opera's ;-) EXCEPT for any <select> elements, which are...

Hi All, I have implemented my own toolbar on a form which houses the crystal reprot viewer. I would like to have a combobox to allow the user to change the zoom level to say 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 200% However the crystal report viewer only seems to allow two levels of zoom, using the .Zoom method, 1 for actual size, and 2 for fit to screen. Is there any way that I can manually set the zoom level to something else

I have a report in Access 97 formatted for Legal paper. I want to output it to a large format printer blowing it up to 250% its current size. Does anyone know how to get Access to print to this size and to automate the adjustments to the report? I also need to keep the Legal size version of the report. Excel has a print to fit option, is there anything like that for Access?

Hi there, I have a bunch of images on my ASP.Net website, and i wanted to have a zoom feature as well..., I can do it with panels and just keep doing the image.width = image.width * 2... but i wanted to do it another way I wanted to have that thing where it is just a small square (maybe an inch by an inch) and that square can be moved with the mouse... then, only the part inside the square would be zoomed... is this possible??

Hi there, I have an image on my ASP.Net page and i created a <p> tag that can be dragged around the screen.. I needed to get it so that when the <p> tag is over the image, whatever is inside, or behind (however you want to call it), only that part gets zoomed in... so i need the box and the image to always be the same original size and only when the box is placed over the image, the part of the image within the box will get zoomed..

In MS Access image controls there's a property setting for "Size Mode" --> Clip, Zoom or Stretch. I don't see any similar property in an asp image control. When I have an image on a page, it seems to Stretch no matter what. If an image is displayed that has different proportions than the image control itself, the image is distorted. I need a "Zoom" setting (not to zoom in and out). How can this be done? Thanks, Keith

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
