Can you undo more than one item?

Will access allow you to undo more than one step. On mine it seams that
you can only undo the last thing you did. In excel for example you can
undo at least a dozen steps backwards. In access help, it states that
supposedly you can do multiple undo's. Any ideas?

also, Is the a feature (like in excel) that you can leave a note or comment
hidden in a cell?

You can do multiple Undos for changes to VBA code, but changes to data are
committed to disk immediately and as such you only get one level.

Nope.

Hello everybody I'm developing a tool in Tkinter and would like to add Undo and Redo commands to my Edit menu. Does somebody know if anybody has implemented standard Undo/Redo as a Python module? I could not find any info with Google on the matter. Cheers, Mickel Grönroos

Hi, I have a text control on a form which is bound to table field StartDate which is in Date format. When updating the table record via the form, any data entered into the StartDate control is immediately validated. If the data entered is considered valid, focus moves to the next control in the tab sequence. So far, so good. If the data entered in StartDate is considered invalid, an error message is displayed via MsgBox. When OK is...

I don't do much with subforms - in fact I've deliberately avoided them - but .... I have a tab control that will contain several subforms, each bound to a separate table, and each table/subform will relate to the same person - but the subform data will not be 'linked' to the main form. I want to have one Cancel button for all the undo operations on all the subforms, so the individul subform's Public Sub, Form_Cancel will be called...

On a form, I create a record and save, and am ready to enter another. I decide to Quit the form which executes an "Undo" in case there is data entered. This then tries to "delete" my just saved record. I want to "Reset" my Undo ability once I've saved a record. Is there a way to reset the Undo? Any help or tips would greatly help. I'm looking for syntax and attachment points.

Hello, I've tried to find information about how to implement an Undo/Redo pattern. This article describes such a pattern: http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/PcObjectUndo.asp , but is a little bit to narrow, since it only can handle 1 object, and since it only works on properties. What if you , in an application, have more than 1 object , and you want to use undo/redo on them?

General question about how WinForms handles undoing a change during a control's validation, if it does at all. After a change to a control's value, if the data is determined to be invalid, then in the control's Validating event handler, setting e.Cancel = true will prevent the offending control from losing focus until the data in the control is good. If the user wants to revert to the original data, say by hitting ESC, does the form...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
