Hi everybody,
by a stupid mistake I deleted some important files for my .NET 2002 installation that I had on a w2k machine. So I de-installed VisualStudio.NET completely and tried to re-install it, but now I get strange error messages. During installation of .NET Framework I get:
"C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\mscordbi.dll failed to register. Contact your support personnel."
??? What could be the reason that the dll can't...

hi all, have anyone else met with the following problem.
we've got a SQL2000SP3a on a 2 active-active node clusters of W2K3,
this cluster in using AD.
I've found that whenever I use Enterprise Manager on my local computer
to register the above instance, it will constantly produce "Failed
login for <Domain>\<DomainUser>" errors in the Windows Security Log of
the database server machine. There's no failed login in the SQL error
log and...

Hi,
My App running on my local machine is trying to access apsx and ascx pages
via a virtual directory (see earlier post) that points to a share on a
different machine.
I can now access .aspx and run .aspx pages ok. However I've added a <@
register tag to a local page that references a .ascx page on the remote share
(via the virtual directory). I now get a 'Failed to start monitoring changes
to ' error on the @register statement.

I just upgraded to PHP 4.4.2 on my Slackware 10.2 system. And
Apache/mySQL/PHP all work great through a browser. No errors.

We can not register an ActiveX control on our Vista 32 bit machine.
When we do regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\citcp.ocx (this is a 3rd party
ActiveX control), we got an error: citcp.ocx was loaded but the call to
DLLRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80040200. I can successfully
register MSVBVM60.DLL and MFC42U.DLL. We login to the machine with a user
