Text disappearing from combo box

Hello,

I posted this problem in a thread on a seperate message, I'm not sure
I did it right so I started a new message, sorry for any problem this
has caused. This problem has me pulling my hair out, any help would be
appreciated

I am experiencing the disappearing text in combo boxes problem on two
machines I've just installed ( one a new machine and the other a
re-formatted older
clone system). Both machines are running Win2k sp4 and Acc 2k. The
same
application code is running on 8 other machines (Win2k and Win98) all
machines patched to currently available levels.

The problem appears on three different forms, all three forms are
continous forms.

One form displays combo box text fine until a print function is
performed, after the print operation, the combo appears to be empty
when it is moved to the next record.

The other two forms displays the combo box correctly time and some
time its empty. Again just on the two new machines.

Even though the text is missing, the combo box appears to contain data
because it will drop down and the highlight bar will move though the
records.

Thanks,
John Wind :>)

Except for missing ALT tags on images, this site validates, yet I get some strange disappearing text in IE on a PC. Check out this page: http://www.alexmarshall.org/index.php?pageId=50 At the bottom of the middle box is the text "Categories: About my book", which shows up normally in FireFox, but which disappears in IE. Why so?

Hi, Each time the user selects an item from a combobox, I want that string to get appended to the values that were already selected. The result is that the combo is accumulating text each time the user selects an item from its list. I want the delete and backspace keys to function normally, as well as all the other properties of the...

How can I help my the data from a combo box from disappearing when I change record? the data is coming from a query that is made to limit the value list of a combo box depending on the value of the first combo box. I used to have the name before and it worked great but decided to changed my system to bound the ID instead for greater accuracy.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
