Barcode Reader and Caps lock

I have a second hand bar code reader (keyboard wedge) en i can read
the bar codes but after every scan he turns my caps lock on.
(GRRRRRR).

I search a code to turn my caps lock off or can anyone tell me why
(the hell)it happens that way.

There is an API call which will set these for you. I use it for a comment field at
a clients where the manager got ticked at his people keying in comments in upper
case.

Did you try or are you guessing?

I've just scrolled through the code and I can't see anything that shouldn't
work on A97. The instructions for A97 would be:

1. Open the form in design mode.
2. - 4. same.
5. Open the form in normal mode.

Hi! I was wondering if the was any way to determine the state of the caps lock key, on or off. Of course I can capture the key events and see whether the caps lock is pressed, but that does not help. I have seen some example that looks at the characters entered in an input field to determine if the caps lock is on, but I was wondering if something is possible that is a bit more immediate to report the caps

Hi, I am writting a software that requires me to make sure the Num Lock is always on and Caps Lock is always off. First, I know how to detect if Num Lock or Caps Lock is on or off (if someone is interested, let me know and I will send you the codes). Once we know if the stat of Num Lock/ Caps Lock is not what we desired, we just send the Num Lock / Caps Lock key to change the stat. From most of

I need to have 2 simple barcode reader applications finished by midnight tonight. I have never written any barcode reader software and need any help that you may be able to offer. I do not know what type of barcode the user will have, so I need to be able to accept input from any industry standard barcode reader. I need to check the barcodes scanned to see if they are in a database of acceptable barcodes and simply show ACCEPT or...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
