Where can I find the pathname?

I delivered a test DB where in the main form there are some
frames with associate object with Word files (linked). Now
the customer asks me how to get the pathname of the Word
files and indeed I don't see it anywhere while I thought it
was in .sourcedoc property (it contains nothing)
someone can help me?

I've googled extensively and checked this newsgroup and can't find anything like it for Python. I'd be using it in Linux to regularly search for files with a script. Is this a good application for Python or does Perl have more...

I know about os.path.split(), but Is there any standard function for "fully" splitting a file's pathname? A function that is the opposite of the os.path.join() function? For example: In the meanwhile, I'll do this by hand. I'm just curious if there is a standard way to do this.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
