Hi everyone,
In using the SQL Server Database Wizard in Access 2000 to create a new
access project, I get two consecutive error messages and then the wizard
shuts down. The first, which apprears immediately after starting the wizard
is a message box stating something like "the property value is too large".
After clicking through and filling out the values in the connection and
database dialog, I get a second dialog box with the message...

Hey people,
I have to convert MS Access 2000 database into mysql database, the whole
thing being part of this project I'm doing for one of my faculty
classes. My professor somehow presumed I knew db's and gave me long list
of things to do with that particular database, first thing being that
particular conversion. Truth is that I don't know a first thing about
db's, let alone using mysql... I downloaded mysql form www.mysql.com and...

Hello all
Would it be possible to migrate the MS Access 2000 to MS SQL Server
2000?
My application is using MS Access 2000 as database and as user
interface such as forms. Now, I want to migrate the backend database
from MS Access 2000 to MS SQL Server 2000. However, I want to keep the
MS Access 2000 interface. Would it be possible?

Hello All
I got "Tables are skipped or export failed" error when I used upsizing
wizard on migrating MS Access 2000 to MS SQL Server 2000.
I am changing my application backend database from MS Access 2000 to MS
SQL Server 2000. My front end is MS Access interface. When I used the
MS Access 2000's Upsizing Wizard for database migration, some tables
cannot be migrated. The upsizing wizard report states some tables are
"Tables are...

Hi all,
I've just upgraded to Access 2000 and it seems that all the wizards do
not work. I get error messages saying that they are not installed.
I've already done the following:
1. Uninstalled and re-installed
2. Checked for presence of acwzmain.mde and acwztool.mde
3. re-registered the dao files

I know this is a long, long shot since I've never seen anyone else confess
to owning this software but.....
Does anyone know what the correct sequence is to get the MSI wizard
functioning correctly on a windows 2000 SP3 pc? I have had to reinstall
following a system crash and the thing just won't play ball.
This is what I'm currently doing;

This is a general posting of how I fixed a problem created by using the
Access 97 ODE Setup Wizard on a Windows XP machine. I hope it helps anyone
who comes across the problem saves them the 3 days its taken me to sort out.
The application generates the following error:
"Incompatible version of the RPC stub"
This occurs when trying to run Outlook to send an email. However I expect it
would occur for any operation which uses...

This question probably has been asked many a time. And yet I feel it
is still relevant for one thing a search on this NG does not produce a
desirable answer.
It is kind of disappointing that MS would not be able to transfer ER
relationship from an Access db to a SQL Server 7/2000-based one, the
upgraded db/imported tables sitting on the SQL Server would not have
PKs, say, you have 100 user tables, you have to first recreate PKs for
each...

replace the FE with .net and the BE on SQL.
This will be done using Visual Studio 2005. Once the FE is converted to .net

I work in Ms Access and intermediate at VBA and just learing SQL through the
ENTERPRISE MANAGER SCREEN.

Jumped for joy last night after learning, indeed, the command button wizard can be switched on or off. Well this occured here, with my Access 2000...an attempt to redo at work failed.
Here's the scenario, quite amusing, and I'll try to sum this up quickly:-)
At home, when the command button wizard (Access 2000) loads and give me some wonderful options/selection tips, the result, code is pre-written for the button when completed.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
