My Forward Email is being Tracked ?

1 New Member
Hello everyone,

I recently received an email containing some attachments word and pdf (say from A) to my personal email address (say
B) that i forward to my another Email Account (say C).

Later i found that the first email sender (A) got to know somehow that who i(B) am forwarding this email to.

It seems that A is tracking my email forwading that i am receiving from him. Is there a way to do so ? if yes please let me know and how i may protect it in future.

I am a computer illiterate. I hope that i have been able to explain my problem well.

All your help is really appreciated!
Thanks in advane

There are many ways this could have occurred.

1) 'A' may not have shared that information with anyone else, so if it got out, if was obviously the only person he shared it with
2) 'A' may be completely guessing you have done it, but not actually know
3) 'A' may have talked to C
4) 'A' may have received a copy of the email and looked at the forwarding details
5) 'A' may have a complex tracking infrastructure already set up, so that anything done on 'A's network would have been tracked and reported
6) 'A' may have compromised either your system or C's system so they know what has occurred

My guess is one of the first four happened.
