I've read a lot of posts on "why relax ng is so very good" and on "why
w3c xml schema should be the only schema language". I'm, however,
still not clear on why I should prefer one over the other.
I've made a small list of some good and bad points of both. These
points don't really go into the grammar aspects of these languages,
but are more about secondary aspects. The grammar aspects are
different, but both are suitable for validating...

I'm trying to find out if it is permissible to include a schema
document with absent target namespace to a schema with specified
target namespace, and if it is, what are the rules to resolve the
target namespace of the components from the included schema document.
I'm confused because of the rules I read in the XML Schema spec
<http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#element-element>:
> If the <element> element information item has <schema>...

In a schema I've been working on recently, a convention I evolved was to use a
consistent naming pattern such that, for instance, a Resident could appear in
a ResidentSet, and could be referred to by a ResidentRef, and the same pattern
would apply to other types of entities. That amounts to a lot of duplication
in the schema, though, and results in a need to enforce consistency in how the
naming convention is applied.
A solution I've...

I know in SQL Server the terms Database and Catalog are used
interchangably. But a table is also assigned a schema. As seen in the
INFORMATION_SCHEMA.Tables View. I don't get what this schema qualifier
is all about. Like if a table has a schema of dbo.
Can someone explain the relationship the schema has and what it is?
Thanks.

I need some clarification to help me understand the DB2 strucure more.
The questions are about "implicit schema"
1. This is a very interest concpet that DB2 let every user to create new
schema (as this is part of the PUBLIC group privilege - if I am not wrong).
From a practical stand point, what is the application of such concept.
2. Suprisingly, if the schema is an implicitly created, everyone else can
create objects in it too. What...

A set of xsd files has been working fine for us at this site, but now
it gives *intermittent* errors for someone at a different cite (who is
consuming the code we are producing). Most of the time it works
fine. Occasionally it gives an error in the schema compiler:
"System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaException: Wildcard '##other' allows
element 'Page', and causes the content model to become ambiguous. A
content model must be formed such that...

Hi,
I have a problem with nested namespace in a schema.
I defined a schema A.
A is importing a schema B with the namespace nsB and a schema C with
the namespace nsC.
But both B and C are importing a schema D with a namespace D.
I have a validation error because some elements are defined twice.

Please give me your advice!
I made two files according to xml book, but when validating these two
files,
it gives me an error that I totally don't understand.
Is there a problem in these codes?
I checked xml and schema files through these following sites:

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
