Schedule a task before shutting the beast down

Hi all,

In Scheduled Tasks, is there by any chance i can schedule a task before shutting down/Logging off my system?

You could use the group policy manager to run scripts either during start up, shut down, log on or off events.

From the Windows command line type: gpedit.msc

Hope this points you in the right directions,

Done. Thanks a lot.

The reason why I was looking for such a thing was, I’m got screwed up by my boss for not filling the timesheets. Few days ago the matter got worse and I faced serious problems because of that. That is when I decided to write a scheduler that would open a browser with the timesheet url before shutting down the system. Its working fine.
