Windows Installer is Corrupted

hi there
when ever i try to install any software a message appears
your windows installer is corrupted
not exact but some thing like that
whats the solution

your going to have to provide more information.

Does the installer get to a certain point and stop? What are you trying to install? What kind of computer?

More information is required, please provide the error code, what OS your using and what your trying to install.

...but that you tried going here and re-downloading windows installer 3.1 again? scroll down and download "WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe".
