Switch Back to Internet Explorer 6.0

1 New Member
I have recently installed Internet Explorer 7.0, and have been having a lot of problems with it. I would like to go back to the old version that I was using before. Can someone PLEASE help me figure out how to do this without messing up my computer?!!!!

If you go to the Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs and un-install IE7, IE6 should be re-installed automatically. BUT:
Doing so may not fix any problems that you are having.
If you have a an OS that IE7 should be able to run on, then let's get that fixed.
IE7 is far better than IE6 and there are setting to make it "look and feel" more like what you are used to.

ie6 to ie7 has some big changes and it take time to get used to them, give it time and you'll be able to use it even better...or just get firefox.

What problems are you having? Can't help if we don't know what that is.

But I also advocate switching to Firefox or Opera because they are far better browsers than any version of IE could hope to be.
