I want to know the best way of passing on variable contents on a site
coded in ASP using frameset/frame. Content is used in all frames for
stuffs like screen_resolution, language, ...
My client's site is visited by Netscape 4.x/6.x and IE-5.x/6.x. It's
being converted to ASP and currently using frames (middle frame has a
vert scroll bar).
-I tried using Session("xxx") but in Netscape (4.x), it opens up a new

Hi,
This is on an AS/400 which can be a little strange but I think the
basic question is portable.
I have a (non-C) program that needs to make series of calls
to some C programs/functions. The problem is that I need to
initialise certain variables within the first C program called and
then use them in subsequent calls to other C functions.

Hi people,
I know that getenv() returns the value of single environment variable,
but I need some function that returns all of env. variables
(just like when we type SET in commandline or similar).
Any help ?
Thanks
Nelson.

Hello community:
I post this because I could not find satisfactory answers in the posts
generated by this nice group.
I work on winXP. I have many little python applications in different
folders, each application can share or not other objects located in the
same or other folders.
The way I work to use these applications is:
1) For almost everyone, I execute a corresponding ".bat file" into

I'm trying to create some envirment variables but I'm having some trouble.
Whats the correct way?
This is what I've got in my C# application.....
Environment.SetEnvironmentVariable("PYTHON",
@"C:\Python22\libs\python22.lib");
but when I look for them, they never get set. When I single step through
them with the debugger, the line excutes, no errors but nothing ever
happens. Am I missing something?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
