I was wondering if someone could explain why I'm receiving this error. It's
like a 404 error but I think it might be something else.
Basically, I have a page where a user inputs his email address. The system
is supposed to look up the email address and send the associated password to
that email address. It worked up until a few months ago. Note that the
validation works. So, if the user tries to submit a blank text box, it
returns...

Hi:
I'm using the HTML File Field control as a file picker for uploading files
to a SQl Server image field. When page posts back to initiate upload, if
file is small (under about two megs) all is well. However, when I select a
large file, the default IIS "Cannot find server" page is immediately
returned. Weird???
Thanks,
Charlie

Hello,
I have a vs.net 05 c# application in which I am using an axWebBrowser
control to display Visio diagrams (*.vsd). (If the free Visio Viewer
provided by Microsoft is installed on a computer, you are able to view
Visio diagrams in Internet Explorer).
Of course, not all my users have the Visio Viewer installed, so I want
to show a message providing more info when I detect this. Currently,
the axWebBrowser redirects to the system...

I have created a (Click-Once) deployed app that gets updates from my
computer via a LAN.
Works great !
The deployment creates a Start Menu Folder with one item, the app itself.
The app gets deployed onto XP Pro OS Machines.
When I right-click on the icon representing the app, the "Pin to start menu"

Hello there.
Today, I was developing a college work software and then I saw thoe 2 types of while. My teacher asked me how does the "while(ifs)" (considering my ifstream was ifs) (that was the one I was using) should work, I didn't know what to answer.
Both of em works to check the enf of the file in, right? Whats the advantage in using while(ifs)? How does the "ifs" works.
Thanks in the advance. :)

I want to avoid letting users use the back button on forms with multiple
postbacks so I use Response.Cache.SetNoStore() for these pages. This works
fine for IE7 and Firefox by showing the desired "this page is expired"
message for those browsers. IE6 just shows a "the page cannot be displayed"
error.
Is there any way to avoid the error for IE6 and just show the page as
expired when the user presses the back button?
If there's any...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
