Dear all,
I have an application which is suppose to start another executable process.
As soon as that process is running, I need to retrive its handle. The
problem of the particular process I am starting is that it has a welcome
window first which gets displayed and then the real windows after a while,in
other words it means that the process name is the same, but the handle I need

critical", I mean that certain parts of the process must be completed in a
specific time frame. The time when the process starts is not especially
important, but it must be complete within a small number of seconds.

Hi,
I have a working windows service,it is looking for files on the disk
and when some of the files are cupdated it calls an executable. But it
takes a lot of time(about 10 minutes) to run the executable.So while
that executable is running,if I try to stop the windows service while

We have distributed application built upon .NET 2.0. The business components
are exposed as Web Services. Some of the Business Components involves in
heavy processing and occupies more RAM. It appears there is a memory
limitation of 4 GB per process and we are not sure if we have to further
distribute the heavy processing components in to separate process/application

Hi, I'm using VS 2005, ,.net 2 for C# windows application. I'm using Process
to run a C application and redirecting its standard output so I can read it
with StreamReader.ReadToEnd. It's only reading the 1st 5 lines or so when
there is about 30 lines of data.
I also tried using the Process.BeginOutputReadlin and a
DataReceivedEvntHandler to gather output but I also only get about 5 lines of
the data.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
