Hello,

What sort of netmeeting are you talking about? There are many ways to meet online (e.g. IRC, IM etc).
If you actually want to transfer file through IRC/IM then you might consider reading the docs for the client (or program) you are using to connect to other person. And for that you will have to search GOOGLE.

Hope this helps.......

He is talking about the Netmeeting Software that is compatible with Windows.
Not IM or IRC.

For file transfer, click "transfer files." On "file transfer" dialog box click "add file" and select the file you want to send. The next process is similar to chat. Click on the person or persons you want to send file. Click on the "send file" once you have made your selection. To share files, click the "share program" button and in the "sharing" dialog box select the program you want to share.

Hello,

I never knew about netmeeting :( and so it would be better if everyone would just ignore my last REPLY #2 now.

After the last six days trying to download VS2005 Professional it seems there may be a problem with my instance of the File Transfer Manager (FTM) or somewhere in the network in between. I can't even download the measely 1.5MB GIF animator which is in the Tools folder at subscriber downloads. The FTM keeps recycling with retries until it finally times out regardless of the configuration settings. I've been talking with MSDN Customer...

I have a problem transfering files using sockets from pocket pc(.net compact c#) to desktop(not using .net just mfc and sockets 2 API). The socket communication is not a issue and I am able to transfer data across. On the serve I am using Socket 2 API (recv function to read bytes)and not using ..NET. I use FileStream to open the file on the pocket pc, then associate a BinaryReader object with the stream and call ReadBytes to read all the...

I've got a custom HttpHandler to process all requests for a given extension. It gets invoked OK, but if I try to do a Server.Transfer I get an HttpException. A Response.Redirect works, but I really need to avoid the extra round-trip to the client. I've tried Passing the page name, the full URL, and the instance of the handler class to the Transfer method, but everything gets me the same error 500. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a server application that accepts file transfers (utilitzing tcplistener) and was wondering how I would efficiently go about determining the calculate transfer rate while I am transferring the file. The Sub where the transfer actually takes place is called asynchronously. The (psuedo) code in the Sub goes something like this: While byteCount < filesize bytesRead = Bytes read from NetworkStream

On Server.Transfer(), is there a reason why the previous page's elements would appear on the new page? Note: this transfer is occuring between two pages on the same server. <Scenario> I'm using Page.Context.Items and Server.Transfer to communicate between two pages (lets call them page1.aspx and page2.aspx). On postback to page1.aspx I preform a Server.Transfer() to page2.aspx. The transfer occurs, but page2.aspx renders incorrectly....

I have googled to no avail on getting specifically what I'm looking for. I have found plenty of full blown apps that implement some type of file transfer but what I'm specifcally looking for is an example to follow for using a tcp socket to transfer files between client/server, server/client. Both server and client are my program so I'm not looking for how to implement an FTP client, or how to download a file from a web server via http...

I need to transfer an XML file between an application on the client and the server. This would in fact be a copy of the application's .config file. HTML <input form=...would transfer the file but the user would have to select the file and initiate the transfer. I would like the transfer to start under program control and not require the user's interaction. In the past I would simply do a GET or POST transfer of a collection of

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
