I'm using the standard NTFS file system. The only time the access time
is updated is when the file is modified or saved (with no changes).
What's up with that? Shouldn't a read/view update the access time?

Hi, I'm writing an ASP app that administers an ISA server remotely.
The fact that it's an ISA server isn't my problem I believe.
My question? What is the security difference between disabling
anonymous access and using account X from the web client, versus
allowing anonymous access but using account X as the account that runs
the application?
When I configure my web application to allow anonymous access, but
set the anonymous process...

Hi,
Where is the y project on your HDD? IF it is for example
in your profile and it is encrypted the dll will be copied
to the web app's bin directory in an encrypted state. So
teh ASPNET user won't be able to read it. The file is
missing from your temp directory because the framework
cannot read it and copy it into that directory.
Regards,

I developed a small data-entry ASP.NET app on my workstation (WinXP Pro).
It connects to a SQL Server 2000 DB using integrated security. This is
located on a server, SERVER1.
SERVER1 is also our web server.
I then built the solution, & copied its folder into the wwwroot folder on
SERVER1.
I modified the properties in IIS so that it was configured as an
application.
For Directory Security, only Windows Authentication is allowed.

I'm getting a Web Access Failed dialog when trying to create a new ASP.NET

I am wondering would this work on FAT16 and FAT32?
if File.Exists("filePath\TestingTester.exe")
I know that FAT16 uses 8 char file names and that a file longer then this
would be automatically renamed to let's say:
file name TestingTester.exe would be called Testin~1.exe
Thank you,

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
