what do you mean ??
black screen ??
during the "black screen", do you see any lights ON other than the Battery and the Charging..

and, how did you attempt to "fix it" ??
what did you do ?? and i can't understand anything about what you said on the Control Pannel... etc..

please use correct tenses because, it is hard for me to understand..
i am sorry, if you are not proficient at English but, please try..

It is normal for it to go dark because you are using Windows Vista and the screen goes dark for a second and focuses your attention on the allow action or dont allow action, it is part of windows vista security.

Otherwise if it goes completely blackout where the screen is no longer on, there might be a malfunction or a script that turns off your screen, check with your manufacturer for any patches or software upgrades.

Best luck,

BSOD just got a whole new meaning (Black screen of death)
Only heard of vista greying out,
If the monitor is turning out, then it most probably is hardware related

Could use your assistance with this. I have a window that opens via onclick and it is a small window with info about a site. If the user is interested in visiting that site, there is a link to click that opens the site in a new and larger window via onclick. My question is, can I have the smaller window automatically close when the user clicks the link to visit the site? I also have a link that merely closes the smaller info window if...

Hey all, Requesting help from the VB.Net gurus in here. I was given a task to write a Windows Service (VB.Net) that would run an external program, and if that program closed for any reason (other than the service being stopped) it would restart it. I have written the service to do just this, and for testing purposes I am running the program Notepad. And I even have it making entries in the System Event Log. However, and this is my...

Let's say I have an MDI parent form with a textbox. If I create an MDI child form and, at runtime, move the MDI child window over the textbox on the MDI parent, the textbox appears in front of the MDI child window. How can I make the MDI child window appear in front of any controls that may be on the MDI parent? thanks, John

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
