are the other accounts password protected and it is just logging in as ASP.NET instead of prompting for username and password?

Yes they are ,and yes it automatically tries to logon with ASP.NET

let try this, in run type:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. control userpasswords2
  2.
a window should open. in the users tab there is a checkbox, is it checked? if not check it.

ok i must not be being clear
when you start a pc after boot comes the logon to windows
where you enter you user name and passwrod to get to your desktop
that logon prompt now says asp.net as user
and my original user name and password have no effect
so i cannot get into the user control panel or anything else
i have a logon screen and a nice blue background thats it

boot up into safe mode and login the admin, make sure the account isn't deleted like you said and if its gone, create another.

We were using sql authentication on our sql server 2000 servers, But need to use windows authentication. I have an sql user jdoe that owns many different objects in multiple databases. I have tried adding the windows login of jdoe with the exact same permissions as the sql user jdoe, but it complains because it says jdoe already exists. So I attempt to delete the sql user of jdoe (remembering the permissions so I can reapply them to...

Is it possible to have asp.net on a windows 2000 server and still retain compatibility with clients who don't want to use it? I installed Aspnet on my Windows 2000 server and it killed all my ODBC (MSAccess) connections. As soon as I uninstalled it I was able to connect again. Is there something I need to do in order to use Aspnet on W2K and not clobber the connections?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
