Right click on any folder while holding the shift key

This will give a drop down and one of the options is the command prompt

If you searched google it was right at the top

I got it from this site
open-command-prompt-here

Hope it helps

Yeah; sorry. The server shows us each our own time info, not the OP's time. So, when I quoted my screen (PST) the would have been something like 12 hours off for you. For example, this post show me that is was posted at 10:59 AM.

Many times the OP does not come back. BUT someone in the future will be searching for the answer and hopefully find your post.

All, I am trying to use Regasm from the command prompt and have to keep putting the full file path of where my assembley is located. Does anyone know how to set it up so wherever I run the command prompt from I can use Regasm saving entering the full path. Thanks Msuk

Yes, I am guessing that typing cmd in the run windows will bring up the command prompt, but not the vs.net command prompt. Is there a switch(s) for accessing the vs.net command prompt? Or do you get to it from the VS.net IDE? Thanks, Rog

I have .net 2002 edu version and when it installed there was a shortcut to the .net command prompt. My CLR disk is scratched so I can't reinstall and so I just downloaded express. I dont know how to access the command prompt so I can compile basic files from this book I'm reading. I found this really cool resource here that would save me a lot of typing by being able to sense which directory I'm in...

Currently I have this code, but it execute's too fast I think because Dim psi As Object = New ProcessStartInfo psi.FileName = "cmd.exe" System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(psi) SendKeys.Send("abcdefg" & "{enter}") SendKeys.Send("12345678" & "{enter}")

My last version of Python was 2.4, running smoothly on XP with path c: \Python24 - no need even to include this path in PATH; everything worked as it's supposed to at the command line. Just installed Python 2.5, after uninstalling 2.4 (and also 2.3 which had lingered). Now if I open a shell in Windows Python is not available! Here are the symptoms: - If I open a shell using "Command line here" with XP Powertools, then enter "python"...

Hi, I've written a program which has both a command line interface and Windows form interface, however it isn't quite working correctly. When run from command line with no arguments it should display the Windows form. The form is being displayed but the command only returns when the form is closed. I want the command line to return immediately, leaving the form displayed.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
