Hello all,
First off, if there is a better place to post for an answer to this
question, please feel free to point me there.
I have some very strange behavior happening with my System.web.mail objects.
I was able to run my application fine for roughly 1500 email messages. The
next time I tried sending mail, it stopped working with the message:

Dear All,
At some customers we are facing a problem when the user tries to
launch any aspx page from IE. We are getting "Compiler failed with
error code 2000". Is this bcos of some missing resource?
I read in the newgroup that said:
1. Re-install IIS ( I applied Windows 2000 SP3 after that)
2. Register Aspnet_isapi.dll as described in Q306005.
At this point the problem should have been fixed. I applied the .net
framework sp2 again and...

I'm wondering how best to present exception messages to a user.
In a try catch I catch an OleDb.OleDbException. The error could be a
COLUMN REFERENCE constraint error (by a deletion attempt).
The normal user would not know what to make of the standard error
message (exOleDb.Message) and I'm not sure how best to use the the
exOleDb.ErrorCode (-2147217873)?
Is best practise to present the user to a general message like "An SQL

Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me understand something. Below is
some code that I got from the MS website that is suppose to authenticate for
the username and password on the local machine. I tested this code in VB.net
2003 in a WINDOW FORM class and it seems to work fine. However, when I test
it in VB.net 2005 Express Edition it works for the login portion but it
doesn't display the error message if the user name and password...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
