Hy!
We got the same datamodell on Solaris and on WindowsXP. But there is a mojor
difference in the Performance. The database on Windows is much faster than
the one on Solaris although the Solaris machine is a dual processor. The
initialization parameters are also correct, I hope so (like db_block_size
rtc.). Does anyone have the same problem or know what can be the reason of
this performance lack?

On most my pages, I use Javascript to play a sound. It works fine in
Netscape 4.7, Netscape 7.2, Firefox 1.0, IE5 and IE6 using Windows98 as

doesn;t have any UI it starts executing as soon as your pc started.

Hi everyone,
I Run DB Application using Access97 (with DAO) on XP Client and
Windows2000 Server (Version5, SP4) with active directory.
A Simple "Select *" Query takes no time ( less then second), but query
with "Group By " Expresion ( Select CustNum From Customers Group By
CustNum) takes more then 30 seconds to perform.
This Problem accures only with XP Client on Windows2000 server.

Would like to use WindowsXP graphics themes (like shaded tab page in tab
control), but am using Windows 2000 operating system. Using Visual Studio
2005 and .Net Framwork 2.0. Have the option "Enable XP visual styles"
checked in the Project's Application tab.
Following code was placed in the frmMain_Load event, but still no XP themes.
What else

I am using VC++ 2005 professional edition to develop the program to access
the usb port. I have downloaded the WDK 6001, but it can't be installed in
the windows2000 platform. I have try to use libusb.lib, but it seems doesn't
support the windows platflat(I'm not sure, but i can't compile the program).
I want to ask do there any method to access the usb port in windows2000?
