Hi,
I want to make simple client in phyton, which would be able to communicate
with Java server using SSL sockets.
There is the Java clients, which is doing this - so I'm pretty sure, that
Java server works OK.
I've heard, that P2.3 has SSL support included in himself and also, I was
trying P2.2 with pyOpenSSL wrappers and extensions, but unsuccesfuly...
So, could you give me a few lines of python code which makes such things:

I have written a .NET remoting app and I would like to know the identity of
the client that calls my Server. Is there a way to do it?
Or do I have to pass it as parameter in each of the method exposed to the
clients?

does anyone know if there is a way to let user to upload file from their browser to the web server via ftp method but not http upload?
I searched on the web and had a look at MSDN, the ftp method they provide is just from web server to ftp server.
I just wonder if there is a way in .net or asp that can create some file stream between client machine and ftp server. and do the uploading directly.
Any reply or idea will be appreciated.

Hello,
I'm trying to make connection between a C# client to a C++ server.
Since I'm new at C/S I just downloaded sample programs, and tested them.
I downloaded the C++ server (and client) from:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/client_server_socket.aspx
The communication succeeded.
I also downloaded C# C/S from:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/tcpclientserver.aspx
It also worked.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
