Good day,
I've done a bit of searching in the language reference and a couple
pages referring the behavior of super() but I can't find any
discussion of why super needs the name of the class as an argument.
Feel free to point me into the bowels of google if this has been
discussed to death already.
super(self).method() seems like super...

Hi All,
I've created a new table (eg/ 'XM_newtable') on my database and in it I
have a single field (eg/ 'newfield')
I have entered 100 values under the 'newfield' and what I need to do is
display these values at random wherever I insert a bit of code.
My problem is that I don't know what bit of code to insert

I'd like to write a PHP script to be used from the command line on a
Unix machine. I'd like for the script to put together a string, turn it
into a web page, print it, then return control the command line.
Obviously it is quite easy to make a string that is valid HTML and send
it to the printer. The tough part is making look like a web page....

I currently have a cgi-bin which I use to authenticate users against a
SQL database, which holds info about them, and their login info.
I would like to have the 'admin' section take part of the table and put
it in CSV and allow them to download it, somehow making it so that the
'members' cannot download it.
How it authenticates an admin...

Per subject - I realize I can copy/paste a line at a time into an interactive
session when I'm trying to debug, but was wondering if there is any tool out
there that allows me to copy sections of working Python scripts to paste into my
interactive console and let those run so I don't have to copy line-by-line.
Not sure if iPython would meet...

Hello. I am getting the error that is displayed below, and I know
exactly why it occurs. I posted some of my program's code below, and if
you look at it you will see that the error terminates the program
pre-maturely. Becasue of this pre-mature termination, the program is
not able to execute it's final line of code, which is a very important...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
