I need to open an excel workbook and import info to my access program.
That isn't the problem, I've got the code down for doing what I want
to do. I'm declaring the variable and setting it like this.
Dim objEx As Object
Set objEx = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
My problem is after I'm done and exit the access code module and I
shut the excel file down like this

The below code is compacting a database that has a password. Unfortunately
once the below code is complete the database does not have a password anymore.
How do I have it so the password remains or re-create the password on the
compacted database?? For example say the password on this database is :

I'm using Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET 2003 against a fixed
Access database with a fixed database-level password, using OLEDB. I
designed the reports just fine, but I'm not finding a way to actually
use them from code.
Is there really no way to either embed the fixed connection info in the
report or somehow get the string "Jet OLEDB:Database Password=password"
into the OLEDB connection string from code? If not, my...
