Hi,
I have an asp.net script that connects to MS Access database and displays
data in a table. For some reason I am do not know how to display data say in
ascending order of column1.
I have pasted below the script that I am using. I will appreciate if someone
can give me a clue as how to sort data in ascending or descending order when
displaying on the page.

in my combo box , as the user choose the display member , the grid will show
related data
However,as the user "key in the data" in the combox , and press 'enter' ,
the grid won't show related data.
I know the selected index doesn't change. I try validated event, enter
event.
it seems I cannot get the "selected item" from the combo box (if the user
'key in' any data), right ??

I have a data table that lists a series of items in my database. In my user
form, I want the user to be able to filter by a number of criteria (e.g.
location, contract, date modified, etc). Other than modified date, all my
filters are selected via combo boxes. I would like to have the combo boxes
update so that if there are no items available in the currently filtered
list for a given selection, that selection will not appear in the...

Hi all,
Could you tell me the best way to add a blank item(as first item) in a data
binded combo box? Because I think I didn't do it right and it generate an
error if the second item(after the top blank item) is selected by using
Combo.SelectedValue :
"Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: '-2147483648' is not a valid value for 'index'.

I have a data bound combo box. The combo box displays several items (status
code descriptions). After the combo box is bound, I want to set the combo box
so that the "Draft" status is displayed by default. Since the data originally
comes from a database I don't know which position in the combo box it will be
and I don't want to hardcode the status_code field (I want to select the
combo box item based upon status_desc).

Hi, I'm trying to display data from a mysql database in a HTML table
but for some reason my code isn't working. At the moment I have got it
to read and display the headers and the first row of the table and it
actually creates the remaining rows in the html table but it doesn't
put any data in them. This is my code so far:
<?php
$con = mysql_connect("localhost","REMOVED","REMOVED");
if (!$con)

With other solutions I would get a recordset, read each record and
display data by formating my html as I wanted to display values of
each record. I am trying to display data in a three column three row
table with paging. How does this translate to ASP.NET - or - what
ASP.NET tools do I use to accomplish this and how.
Thank you.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
