My program right now generates USPS style shipping label using
System.Drawing.Graphics. It works fine except that the printer prints really
slowly. I want to make my program take advantage of true type fonts. So I
assume it's possible to send Font Type and the text to the printer, and the
printer should digest and print faster. Still, barcode info needs to be sent
as an image.
When I print fifty copies of the same label it prints really...

I know this is a strange question, but I have inherited a system where files are copied
and records re auto numbered (as an index field) )frequently, and I am wondering how high
the number can go without the system crashing.
An ancillary question is how one resets an auto number so that the sequence starts again
at 1.
In the case of this file, the auto number field serves no useful purpose except as an

My macro is writing to a table(T) and reading a query (Q) based on that
table (VBA/Visual Basic 6.3). I cannot write T and read Q in the same
execution of the macro, however, if I skip the writing part I can read
Q just fine.
How does closing the macro reset the state of the system?
The SQL for Q is--

Hi,
I'm trying to build my custom Printer Dialog box.
The following code is supposed to Pop up the printer properties form and
edit the PrinterSettings.
My problem is that I'm able to show the Printer Properties form but I'm
unable to write back the settings to my PrinterSettings
It either crash with a null reference exception or my application freeze
completly.

I am trying to print a macro which is really just a bunch
of pcl code that represents a form of mine to the
printer. I have been able to do this using the
winspool.drv api calls so that I can send the macro byte
by byte to the printer.
The problem is the printer views this as a print job
rather than a macro that should be loaded into printer
memory. So after a minute or two it delets and or spits
out the printjob rather than keeping...

Hi everybody,
sorry for my English first of all.
I've an ASP page (ASP 3.0) used on an intranet which fill up some particular
Mail sheets getting data from a database.
Those pre-compiled sheets are then showed in IE 6 for checking and then have
to be printed.
To correct printing the sheets I have to change the print margins and paper
orientation from IE 6 settings.
Reading around it looks like I can't change IE 6 print settings without

I am trying to develop a C# program to fill in the blanks in a Word Form. Everything works beautifully while the program is running.
I had to go in to fix some links on our Web Site a couple of days later and found any Word Document containing links now shows the code instead of the link. i.e. {HYPERLINK "Executive%20Summary%20for%20CSI.doc"} instead of CSI. I have traced this error down to my program but don't know what is causing it.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
