I'm developing an application in VS.Net 2003 using C#, which uses Crystal
Reports.
When creating each report, crystal asks where the database to use is, so I
specify our SQL server using the ADO option. The problem is that these
database settings seem to get compiled into the report, so when we take the
application to our client it won't work on their systems.
Before running each report I run some code which is ment to reset the...

Hi All,
I have implemented my own toolbar on a form which houses the crystal reprot
viewer.
I would like to have a combobox to allow the user to change the zoom level
to say 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 200%
However the crystal report viewer only seems to allow two levels of zoom,
using the .Zoom method, 1 for actual size, and 2 for fit to screen.
Is there any way that I can manually set the zoom level to something else

I'm mainly experienced in VB6, haven't really got to grips
with .NET very much. I'd like to create, more as a
practice project than anything, a simple ASP.NET web
application that will just do some fairly simple tasks,
such as displaying a crystal report as a chart, changing
its dataset based on a button clicked, etc. I want to make
it work in C# as it seems to me to be the best .NET
language. However I don't really have any idea where to...

I have got an issue with a subform of an application that I have.
Basically, the subform displays a crystal report, and this works fine - it's
just that when you want to close it, it won't close. Clicking its cross
button does absolutely nothing, neither does any method of trying to close
it other than ending its process. While this doesn't impair the
functionality of the app, it's slightly annoying - because while it's OK in
debug mode as...

Hi,
In my ASPNet C# Windows Form, how do I open a Crystal Report without using a
Crystal Report Viewer? And in this situation, how do I pass parameter
value?
Thanks for help.

I am writing a Windows forms VB.Net/MS SQL application via VS 2003 that
utilizes Crystal Reports. I want to be able to dynamically set the
report data source at run time.
I'm trying to change the the reports "integrated security" from TRUE to
FALSE via the "Set Location" dialog in the report designer with no
success. It is not intuitive (at least not to me.)
I get the following error:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
