Create an Outlook message using VBA with embedded hyperlink

1 New Member
I need to create a message using VBA in Outlook which contains a file reference. I would like to create a hyperlink on the file reference so that the reader can simply click the link.

I am using the Redemption Add-On.

Can anyone point me to how I would drag and drop a hyperlink from my C# application into Outlook? I can pass the URL as text, and Outlook 2003 recognizes it as a URL and activates the link, however, I would like to have the display text be different from the actual URL (some of my urls can get pretty long, and I don't want to confuse our users). So, for example string a_url = "http://blah.blah.blah"; DoDragDrop(a_url,...

I work with Access 2000 and Outlook 2000. I know how to write the code that creates a mail message using Access fileds. My problem is that while I have defined the body of the mail message, I want a certain word to appear as a hyperlink. For example, The message may read: "Please email Bill@webaddress.com" But I want "Bill@webaddress.com" to be a hyperlink. Is there code or property I can use to do this while I define the body?

Overview: I have a custom web app that has an 'Inbox' that refreshes every 30 seconds. One user uses Outlook to host the web page. Using IE, the refresh works fine. If the user is working in another window, the web page quietly refreshes in the background. Hosted in Outlook, the refresh causes Outlook to come to the front on every refresh. Or in XP, causes the toolbar icon to flash.

I would like to be able to send from an ASP.NET page an email which when recieved takes the form of a "Sharing Invitation for a RSS Feed" (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA101595391033.aspx) I've found a MSDN article about it (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb176432.aspx) but that example is presented as a vb(a) script from within outlook. Can this functionality be emulated from sending an email from C#? TIA

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
