Before i post actual code, as i need a speedyish reply.
Can i first ask if anyone knows off the top of their head, if there is
a likely obvious cause to the following problem.
For the moment i've reduced my form request to a simple text string
entry, instead of my desired optional parameters. As i have been stuck
with a single unfathomable...

Hi all,
I'm running some seemingly lovely code that works fine in the end, i've
added in some syscmd meter lines to dsiplay a nice status message as
the code progresses but they just stop updating.
In fact if i stay in Access and let the code run (it takes some time as
it is loading and processing very large text files) it looks fine but...

I am developing an ASP.NET application that uses Access 2000 as its backend,
and have just started getting the following error on 2 ASP.NET pages that
had been working until late last week (and I don't think I made any changes
to either page other than changing the user control that creates the
header).
Server Error in '/myApp' Application....

I have read about exception handling in a few books and websites but am
still confused on a basic point.
I understand the try ... catch syntax.
However, I have seen examples of using throw where the throw-command is
not in a try-block.
What is the difference in meaning between throwing in a try block and
throwing outside a try block?

I'm working on a web site, and every thing is fine except when I added the navagation bar......for some reason it pushes my navagation bar away from the border, which is odd because there's no reason it should be doing this. Here's the code:

<head>
<style type="text/css">

(This is with Python 2.5.2, on Ubuntu Hardy, if it matters.)
This seems so basic that I'm surprised that I didn't find anything
about it in the FAQ. (Yes, I am fairly new to Python.)
Here are three tiny files:

Hi,
in some C program I need to port to some architecture, I send to a
function the parameter char with predefined values. Inside the
function, this data is read and something is calculated. But for some
reasons that I can not explain here (too long) the memory is really
small and I would need to use the space used by this char. Then
I...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
