Hi all!
I'm a VB newbie, and trying to send an Outlook Task automatically without
user intervention in a VB application. When I use the following code, if I
enable the send portion (see code below) , I get an error saying "Send is
ambiguous across the inherited interfaces 'Outlook._taskitem' and
Outlook.itemevents.event'.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hello all,
I am trying to find out what the field is in Outlook that holds all
the people's email addresses for when the final completed task report
is sent. Where is it and how can I access it using Access 2002?
Client wants to have access to who in the chain reassigned the task.
In other words, person A created the task. They assigned it to F. F
worked on it and then re-assigned it to C. Ditto from C to L.

I have an error when trying to log into outlook accounts in my vb6 program. I do not have a problem logging into these same accounts using outlook 2003. I have googled and found most of the solutions refer to wsock32.dll is missing. I have a wsock32.dll file. And that also would not explain why I can log in to the accounts on our exchange server using outlook 2003.
Anyways, here is my code: (it is still rough, but I just want to get past...

My organization currently has interfaces in place to generate MS Outlook
emails from our business applications. I am trying to determine if it is
possible and how difficult it might be to interface with MS Ecxhange or
Outlook from a business application and add items to a user's calendar, task
list, or at a minimum to set a follow up flag in an email.
We are running Exchange 2003 and a variety of MS Outlook 2000 and 2003. We
do have...

Hi
I have a simple Outlook 2003 AddIn created using Outlook 2003 AddIn template
in vs 2008. The full code is given below at the end. I got warnings on
Interop assemblies as I have Office 2007 installed while AddIn is 2003 but
as I need to target both 2003 and 2007 I am sticking to lowest common
denominator.
I installed the AddIn by running the vs 2008 generated setup.

Greetings,
I have an Outlook 2007 task that I saved from an Access 2007 database. Specifically, the task contains a "Run Export" command button in the Access group to export an Access report into a PDF file saved on a web server.
Right now, I have to run the task manually, but wonder whether I can somehow automate this using VB to run the task automatically at a predetermined time (e.g., daily at 12:00 a.m.)
Your advice or links to...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
