Hello all I create a form with three buttons in MS Access 2000. They are Open Excel Template, Save Draft and Save Final. When I click the Open Excel Template button, the Excel template will be opened. Inside the Excel template, I have assigned a draft watermark to the Print icon. When the Print icon is clicked, the draft watermark and print dialog box is shown. After the user print/edit data in the Excel template, s/he has to click

OK... I'm not VBA illiterate, but I'm a BA trying to maintain a code-heavy Access 2002 (XP OS) front-end attached to Oracle tables. I have an export to Excel button that worked before the SP2 upgrade, and didn't work afterwards. Research shows me the upgrade caused a problem with a memo field in the export, causing the CopyFromRecordset of object Range error. I found code that is supposed to fix it, but it either doesn't work, or I'm...

I have a puzzling problem. I am using some code I found in another thread here to output the results of a gridview to excel. Here is the subroutine: Sub SendToExcel(ByVal Source As Object, ByVal E As EventArgs) Dim gv As GridView = Ctype(ColRep1Form.FindControl("xlsRep1GridView"), GridView) If gv.Rows.Count.ToString + 1 < 65536 Then gv.AllowPaging = False gv.AllowSorting = False

Hi, I'm converting an excel Macro into visual basic 2005 express, as I don't have a copy of VB 6 and trying to make and executable from it, I know this version doesn't have the save file as .exe, but I have a 3rd party software that will convert vb projects into .exe files. Hi all, It may seem like a rather odd request (or not) but I would like to be able to create a file (doc, jpg, xls or one of many other files that can be automated) on a website and stream it to a user without saving it to the disk first. Obviously saving the file first and streaming it afterwards is fairly easy to do, but it relies on disk write permissions on the server and you'd have to make sure the file was removed afterwards.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
