I'm not sure there is any way to "insert" javascript into VB code. But can you explain in a little more detail what you mean? And what version of VB?

There might be a way to use the Internet Explorer or another web browser control, or the Scripting Runtime, to run javascript code at runtime.

It might be a good idea to also ask this question in the .Net forum. If they complain you've posted it twice, tell them I sent you.

Hi I am planning to open a software company to develop client-server apps and web applications for my client. Now, i am in a difficult situation to determine what is the best platform i should use to develop the application for my end users. Should I use Java or MS.Net technology or should I mix both of them ? Basically, I have these criteria in mind before I decide which platform I should adopt : 1. Ease of use - which one is easy to...

Hello. I have an asp page with java script that calls a clicked event on some radio buttons. It works as expected except for Mac users. They are using a variety of browsers and claim to have java enabled, but when they click on the radio buttons nothing happens. Is there something special that needs to be considered when coding for Mac users (as if dealing with multiple browsers is not enough)... Any clues that will point us in the...

Our company developed the last couple of years a development tool: using this tool we configure and program (using SQL, and Java-Script) very, very easy an application. The output of the effort is a state-of-the art n-tier, j2ee, pure-java/xml-Application - but without coding one single line java. And: the application looks really sexy. Some of the mentioned features are patented in US. Everything goes well, our customers loves this way of...

Q 1: I've not been using C++ much yet, but is it true that C++ is an unfriendly language to code in *OR*, as I think, is it just a case of C people, coding in C and calling it C++? Q 2: What would C++'s market share go to when the market would consist of Python, Java, C and Ada? Thanks for consice replies, Jens.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
