Excel Macro (VBA)... How to Align the values to right

3 New Member
Hi
I need some help regarding the alignment of the value in the active cell.

my code is like this (its VB code to implement an Excel macro)

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.     Range("B1").Select
  2.     ActiveCell.Offset(50, 0).Select
  3.     Selection.Value = "NUMBER OF OBJECTS"
  4.
The value is aligned to the left... how to align it to the Right?
and also how to draw the border for a single cell and also for say 3X3 cells ( total 9 cells )

This is my first Macro... so this question might be a basic one... plz help

Hi, I need to use an Excel Sheet in ASP.NET application so that the users can enter (copy, paste ) large number of rows in this Excel Sheet. Also, Whatever the USER ENETRS needs to go to the SQL DATABASE, probably by the click of a button. Is this possible? & what is the BEST APPROACH for doing this? & also if any links are there do tell those to me too coz I have no idea how to go about doing it.

Hi Experts, Looking for a very quick bit on of advice on how to make some python code run. I'm a newbie to both VBA and Python, so i apologise if this is very easy but i'm about to tear my hair out after googling for the last 3 days. I have written a large python script which inside of it creates an Excel table, the name of this file and how many objects can change for each project i run.

I an using ASP to read a database table and generate an HTML table which is save via FSO with a file extension of .xls which opens up in MS-Excel. I am inserting several lines of text into a cell and would like to force a line break between them. I recorded an MS-Excel macro so see how Alt-Enter was captured which turned out to be Chr(10) which is the same as vbLf (right?) I tried inserting that in character in the text but it didn't...

Ok so I have an html page with an embedded excel object. I load some information into the object from a spreadsheet. (works perfectly) I would like to be able to change the background of a few cells in the object based on there new values. How do I do this? I've done this before with VBA scripts in excel using the cell.Interior.ColorIndex property, but it definitely doesn't work with this object. Any help would be much appreciated. I've...

Hello, I've recently been asked to work with Microsoft Access, and while I feel quite comfortable with Excel, I'm at a complete loss with databases. If someone could help me with this issue I'm having I'd be most appreciative. The database is already constructed, I'm just wanting to export the data to an excel file. In short, I'm hoping to export two Tables (or queries...not sure which to use - they both seem to have the same data) in...

Windows XP, MS Office Excel 2003 If the tasks, I’m trying accomplish have been addressed previously (separately or in combination). Please, provide the links or keyword search to find them. I’ve been searching for code for each part of the task separately and trying to piece together multiple macros, that do something similar, to what I’m trying to accomplish in my over all task, but I’m not having a lot of luck. So, here’s the entire task,...

This is probably answered elsewhere, but I've searched the Web and VBA for Excel manual, find no answers. I have a VBA-coded macro in an Excel workbook that is to open another existing workbook -- a .xls file, not .csv -- copy data from it, paste that into the original workbook where the macro resides, then close the source workbook. If I use the debugger to step through the macro -- putting a breakpoint at its first executable line, run...

I am learning VBA and need a little help with a macro that I am writing. I have a worksheet with data that I split into multiple worksheets based on criteria in one column. E.g. Column A has unique usernames, I have a macro (found it online and tweaked) that splits the spreadsheet (Sheet1) into different tabs named by the criteria (lgold, gsmth, ppatty, etc.). So, as a starting point I have an excel file with 20-30 tabs. all named differently,...

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
