Once you reorder the listview items, largeicon or smallicon view will not follow the order of list or detail view which is the correct order. For example with a listview as
lvProdImg.items(0).text="img0"
lvProdImg.items(1).text="img1"
lvProdImg.items(2).text="img2"
lvProdImg.items(3).text="img3"
once it is reordered as
lvProdImg.items(0).text="img2"
lvProdImg.items(1).text="img0"
lvProdImg.items(2).text="img1"

I am trying to add info into a list box but I am having problems. I am
trying to load the information into a tabular format within the list box,
but when I try to space everything out, I get unexpected results. When I use
spaces to move everything around the text moves no more than one space, the
text only moves one space. If I try to use tabs, I get the same result. If I
try to put in , I get  . I am not sure what I am doing...

Since no one else knew how to do this I sat here all morning experimenting
with this and this is what I came up with... Its an example of how to get a
list of items back from a virtual mode list view in .NET 2.0 with multiple
selection turned on... since the .NET documentation is EXTREAML vague on how
to do this and offers no clue on what the virtual mode events do or how to
use them... just thought this might help someone else out...

Here is another virtual mode example for the .NET 2.0 framework while
working with the list view. Since you can not access the items collection of
the list view you need to do sorting another way... here is my code on how I
did it to help anyone starting out get an idea of how to use virtual mode in
..NET 2.0
Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
Imports CrystalDecisions.Shared

So what is the easiest way to do this? I have one list view with a list of
items (in detail view and with about 20 sub items) and a second list view
that will take the items they drag from the first one to the second one. I
tried this once a few years ago by trying to clone the list view item so i
didnt have to recreate it, but ran into the problem of the item already had
a parent... i dont want to remove the items from the first list when...

Hi,
Using the SqlDataSource/SelectParameters/ControlParameter one can
easily bind a Grid View with a list box (or any other controls), pretty
cool, but my list box is multi select.
My questions is, how can I bind a Grid View Control to a multi select
list box (or any multi values controls)
Thanks

I've a multiview with 3 views. on view 2 the user is presented with a check
box list (items from database) at view 3 the user can review their selections
and, either post to the database or go back and amend their selections (all
selected data is held in an extensive profile including several list items).
The problem is going back from view 3 to view 2 the check Box List loses the
user checked items when using: MultiView.ActiveViewIndex =...

When using Windows Live Hotmail and the "bottom" reading pane option chosen,
the messages list shows up but no message, not even when I (single) click on
the message.
The only way to open and read the actual message in the "bottom" reading
pane format is to double click the message and read it in full view.
This all happened when I accidentally fiddled with the divider between the
messages list and the reading pane (I believe this is...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
