Hi,
I have a problem because I don't know how to start my script
automatically after a special event happens.
In detail: I store data from a PLC. Every 30 seconds the data is stored
in a new file. After the file is stored I would like to start my script
that analyzes the data right away. Any help how to do this is deeply
appreciated.

Hi!
I scheduled a DTS-Import from MySQL, whenever I run it manually
(Right-Click on the DTS package) it runs through without any problems.
But firing it by a schedule doesn't work!?
Just to exclude any issues regarding users/roles, I created a DTS to
export files to my desktop to an EXCEL-sheet. Manually export as well
as scheduled export works fine.

If anyone could help me out here I would be eternally grateful.
I have scheduled a data I am using to retrive some information that I
require every day at a set time into a single excel spreadsheet. So
far so good – this works fine. However, every time the new updated
data is imported into the spreadsheet, it overwrites the exisating
data in the spreadsheet losing me the previous days data.

business operations. I can run the program (scheduled or manually)
without a problem if I am logged in. But when i log off and and set it
up as a scheduled task using the Task Scheduler, I receive the

I have a VB.NET app that crashes when run from the Windows scheduled tasks, but runs fine when the run-as user is logged on. The app also runs fine from the scheduled jobs if the run as user is disconnected. The O/S is Windows Server 2003, the app is created with VB.NET 2003.
