hi everybody,
i have very strange error.
i can not see some of the asp pages on my browser. when i
look from view source, all the source is there but browser
does not show anything, just an empty page.
Does anybody have idea about this ?

I'm having difficulty with inheriting a form that has a menu on it. Is this
not possible with a Menu Strip? It comes up locked and will not change in
the descendant.
Also,
I'm trying to use a PropertyExtender with a Menu Strip as well. How do you
get the property to be on the menu items as opposed to the Menu Strip itself?

hi ng,
I actually want to program an application whose main window contains a
menu strip and a tree view control. In the main menu there are items I
want to use for a context menu strip in the tree view but if I add a
menu item from the main menu strip to a context menu it disappears from
the main menu. Additionaly there's no (!) Clone-methode in the
ToolStripMenuItem class, so I can't just copy the menu item at runtime.

I have the follwing snippet of code, lets me find a document and then open
it, but thw word application does not show up.
I had similara to this in vb6 and it worked, but I can't get it to show in
Vs2005 Vb.Net
Can anyone tell me how to show the word application from within VB.net. I
need this and I need to be able to add a new file.
I'll have two diffrent menu items. the edit existing file and the add new
word file menu.

In the old VS 2003 Menu bar, it would scroll the list if it extended
beyond the end of the screen (i.e. you had 60 reports in a menu and it
displayed the little down-arrow at the end of the dropped-down menu
list) and you tapped the first letter of a menu item.
However, it appears that the new VS 2005 menu strip doesn't do this -
i.e. I have a menu that has quite a few items in it; when it is dropped
down and it extends beyond the end of...

I am doing one INTERESTING work with Context Menu Strip. I am
trying to insert a custom control / .Net control in Context menu as a
context menu strip. I tried inserting MonthCalender in Context Menu as
a context menu strip, it worked.
Now, i tried same with Windows Media Player ( a control available in
C#.Net). But I'm not able to set its URL property (i.e. path of the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
