Hi,
Could anyone tell me whether I can find a non blocking alternative to
raw_input that works on windows? Is there not a python way of achieving
this? Can I find it somewhere in the documentation?

Long story as short as possible:
I have a page (aspx) that contains a user control
(ascx). In the form the user can enter a username and
password. If they do, the password box auto-posts-back
and checks to see if the user already exists in the
database.
If yes, the rest of the form fields on the page are
populated with that existing user's data.

Hi
Does someone knows if fopen() is a non-blocking function in a sense
that if there isn't sufficient disk space to open a file in write mode,
then the function will not wait but fail?
I find it difficult to believe that anyone who use this function wants
the program to wait until disk space is enlarged

I am allowing a user to access a page if they know the password and enter it
on a form, I process that form with another php page, if its the wrong
password i do not display sensitive information.
However if the user looks in source coude and sees the name of the
processing page he can simply type in that name and get to the page anyway.
Okay - he can not see so much, just a lot of empty fields as I only load
data if pwd check is okay,...

when user entered particulars in signuppage and click" signup" button, i will direct them to do_signup.php. if say the NRIC is dupicate in datebase, i will redirect them back to signup page again to re-signup, however, i would like to remain all the correct infromation, and let users re-entered their NRIC. how can i do this. can i use Session, but it seems cant work. any one can help me?
