1 New Member
Hi , I have 100 image .

I need to follow the following steps

1. Open a word document

2. Click on Insert -> Picture -> File and then open the image file

3. The Image gets opened in Word.

4. Right Click the Image -> Format Picture and then need to change the Height and width of Image and SAVING THE NEW IMAGE.

5. I need to repeat the process for all 100 images

But, I want to automate this process in VB, so that i provide the image file name and path, Click on button and the code written in VB perform image manipulation in word and save the new image.

Could anyone tellme how to start and use word object to manipulate images in VB

I am creating a word document from an asp page. I have no problems actaully creating the document and creating some tables that have data in them. I am using Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-word" to create the actual document. My problem is that I want to place a picture (which resides on the server) into the word document as well. However all I seem to get is the place for the image but a picture of an "x" meaning that the...

They can then export those pictures to a Word document. I can control the size of the picture on my form using a picture box, but how can I size it in Word, using VB.NET, after I have inserted it? I'm a technical writer and develop my documentation in Word. I'm looking to add icons, but want an easy way of doing so. I don't want to have to insert picture and format, or copy & paste, etc. So I started creating this macro. It works really well except for one thing... the very first time you try to run the macro in a document, it tries to insert the icon 3 lines above where my cursor is. Once i delete the bad icon and try again, it seems to...

I'm wondering if it's possible to insert an image into a placeholder in a Word template (from Access). I have several fields (using custom document properties) such as name, employee title, dept, etc, that I insert with no problems, but I also need to add in a link to an employee picture (linked to a jpg on the network) -- and the picture needs to be in a specific place in the doc. I've tried using a bookmark, which just generates an...

I have a template in Word 2003 with several paragraphs of text and a picture in the upper-right corner. The pic has a fixed position and size, which must not change. From Access, I need to update the template, replacing several fields with data from the db, and replace the picture with a path and filename stored in the db. But most importantly, the size and place of the picture cannot change. It would seem to me that if you insert a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
