Hello Friends,
I am new to this Forum. Let me ask my question straightly
I faced a problem in vb 2005 and that is: I want to send Email using System.net.mail but I couldn't find anything about Authentication there.

Can you please give me a simple code for sending an email using SMTP and Authentication in VB 2005 (.net2)?!

I finally found the code:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2.         Try
  3.             Dim strAddress As String = "xxx@xxxx.com"
  4.             Dim sm As New SmtpClient(Host, Port)
  5.             With sm
  6.                 .EnableSsl = True
  7.                 .Credentials = New NetworkCredential("MyuserName", "MyPass")
  8.                 .TimeOut = 20000       ' I add this extra line
  9.             End With
  10.             Dim _from As MailAddress = New MailAddress(strAddress)
  11.             Dim _to As MailAddress = New MailAddress(strAddress)
  12.             Dim mMsg As New MailMessage(_from, _to)
  13.             mMsg.Subject = "Happy AAA"
  14.
  15.             sm.Send(mMsg)
  16.
  17.             msg = "Seccess!"
  18.
  19.         Catch ex As Exception
  20.             msgbox (ex.Message)
  21.         End Try

Hello everyone, I am using Apache 1.3.33 as the web server and PHP version 4.3.10. My machine is using Windows XP 2002 professional edition which comes with a Windows firewall. I am using McAfee free edition for anti-virus. I use an ISP provider from my country and according to them I do not need to perform authentication while sending mails through their SMTP address. Thus I am using external SMTP server. I don't have IIS installed...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
