Hello All,
I now have a wx.NO_BORDER frame that I have written dragging code
for... I like my window this way as it looks sleeker and I am now
installing some image buttons.
Now I would like to create a new minimize button from an image, and
then capture that mouse down and cause it to minimize the window...
I can make buttons all day long, despite all of my googling I still

How can I add a small "Please wait..." form to a child form so that when I
minimize the child form, the "Please Wait..." form will also disappear? This
form will be displayed when the child form is running a lengthy process or
when the child form is displayed. Once the child form finishes the process,
or it's minimized, the "wait" form will also disappear.

Hi,
My VC++ application does not have a titlebar (and therefore no System menu,
no minimize, no maximize
and no close button). We have a custom button for minimize and close.
When the app is in normal/maximized view, clickinng on the taskbar entry
does not minimize the
application. Normally (with apps with titlebar), the application would
minimize when you click on

hi all,
i was wondering how is it possible to add an extra box ( i think they are
called boxes: upper right corner ...) in a form that will minimize it in the
system tray?
You know some applications have a 4th one (apart from the square , bar and
X ) which contains a dot and once u click it minimizes the application to
the tray.

This is a bit "wordy", but here is the scoop. I'm using Microsoft Visual
Studio for VC++ in
Windows 2000.
I made an application which had no form in it. So when I ran the
application, I just got a DOS box that showed some progress info. I then
decided to add a form... So I made a new application and started with
creating the form. Then I copied and pasted cpp code into places where I
thought they should go - leaving out the stuff...

Anyone have code that creates a button that will Minimize Excel to the

I do not need anything complicated like changing the minimize button or
the close button to a minimize to tray button. I have a Form that pops
up when excel loads, and I will add a command button called Minimize
that I just want to minimize excel to the system tray.

I'm creating my own Sidebar (like in Vista).
In my XP's quick menu, I have a button called "Show Desktop". When I click
it all forms are minimized.
Since I don't want my SideBar to be minimized, how do I prevent this?

I also un-checked all of the check boxes in the database's Startup options menu.
