If u give little more explanation exactly what you want it seems better to help.

I am using the fetch command from the imaplib to fetch messages. I get a
result, but I am a bit uncertain as to how I should interpret it.
The result is described at http://pydoc.org/2.3/imaplib.html as::
(typ, ) = <instance>.fetch(message_set, message_parts)
In RFC 2060 it says: "The data items to be fetched can be either a
single atom or a parenthesized list."

When I start to type the data for a new record, I would like a dropdown box to
open next to it from which I can choose the data from a previously entered
record that starts with the same letter. This is the way my previous database,
Approach, worked. I have tried using the form design toolbox wizard for this
but have had no success. I perused the Help menus and found some deficient
instructions on List, Combo and Dropdown. The dropdown icon...

I have a data entry form with a combo box to look up an entrant's name.
If the name is already in the table then it pulls up the record and
that part of the form works fine. If the name isn't in the table then
I want to be able to add it but this part is not working. I enter a
name that is not in the table and press Enter. I step through the code
and it appears to work until I get to "Exit Sub". At this point a
warning message box...

I read about limiting combo boxes' list data, for example, limiting the
list of values in the second combo based on values in the first combo,
and I found the Dev Ashish site link.
I have two combos based on lookups of very small tables, Audit
Descriptions and Programs.
Combo 1: Audit Descriptions has Comprehensive, Fire Safety, Medical,
MSC, Snapshot.
Combo 2: Programs has A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H (for example).

Hi,
I have a 3 tier ASP.Net app for a handheld which needs to fetch
orders from database via a DAL and populate it in a gridview using
objectdatasource. In the search page I have a few parameters and when
the search button is clicked I am sending those parameters via query
string ( I need to do this since my app will run in a handheld which
has certain restrictions). In the order list page, I am passing those
parameters to the DAL as...

Does VB2005 have a wizard for creating a form based on an Access db? I know
that VB6 had this, but I can't seem to find anything similar in VB2005.
Thanks!

Hi I do have a products table and products-parts table in my Access
2003 database and log all services into a form.
I do have at least the following two combo boxes on my form:
- Choose Product where as the Row Source (See properties):
SELECT tblProducts.ProductName, tblProducts.ProductName FROM
tblProducts ORDER BY ProductName;

I've used a data field as the rowsource for a combo box many times.
The main advantage that I see is that a separate table of say,
"Customers" does not have to be constantly updated. When a new
Customer is added to the data table in question, they appear in the
combobox that uses the Customers field as its rowsource the next time
round.
I've only done this in databases where the record count will never get
to more than about 10000. Are...

Hi,
I have a form with three combo boxes: Area, Sub-Area, and Factor. I've set up the Sub-Area combo box to list only those areas that are part of the selected area. I've set up the Factor combo box to list only those factors that are part of the selected sub-area.
For example, if I select area 1.0, the Sub-Area combo box displays 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 as options. It does not show 2.1, 3.1, etc.
If I select area 2.0, the Sub-Area combo box...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
